Ankalagi Sri Adavisiddheshwara Math
The Kundaranadu region of Gokak taluk is a confluence of natural beauty and history. Ankalagi, situated on the edge of the Western Ghats, is a fertile land surrounded by hills and valleys. Centuries of history are hidden in this sacred soil.
This sacred Lingayat spiritual center stands as a testament to the enduring tradition of preserving knowledge and serving the community for over 777 years.

ಗೋಕಾಕ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕುಂದರನಾಡು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಸಂಗಮ. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಘಟ್ಟಗಳ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಂಕಲಗಿ, ಬೆಟ್ಟಗುಡ್ಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಳ್ಳ-ಕೊಳ್ಳಗಳಿಂದ ಆವೃತವಾದ ಫಲವತ್ತಾದ ಭೂಮಿ. ಈ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಶತಶತಮಾನಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಅಡಗಿದೆ.
ಸುಮಾರು ೭೭೭ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸವಿರುವ ಈ ಮಠವು ಕೇವಲ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿರದೆ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

गोकाक तालुका का कुंदरनाडु क्षेत्र प्राकृतिक सुंदरता और इतिहास का संगम है। पश्चिमी घाट के किनारे स्थित अंकलगी, पहाड़ियों और घाटियों से घीरी एक उपजाऊ भूमि है। इस पवित्र मिट्टी में सदियों का इतिहास छिपा है।
लगभग 777 वर्षों के इतिहास वाला यह मठ न केवल एक धार्मिक केंद्र है, बल्कि सामाजिक और शैक्षिक सेवा में भी अग्रणी है।
